The Farm is a wonderful place where kids and adults will learn and experience what it was like to live over 100 years ago in a fun and exciting hands-on environment. Call us to schedule your school!
We will host school tours this year, Monday through Friday, starting September 29th through October 31st.
Kindergarteners and up will experience farm life at the turn of the century. Students will take a wagon ride to the pioneer cabin, where an old-timer will explain what farm life was like one hundred years ago. They will also see a clothes-washing demonstration.
Back on the wagon to the Sprague one-room Schoolhouse, where a schoolmarm will demonstrate school life at the turn of the century.
Then off to the animal park, where there are 100+ farm animals.
The tour ends at Pork Chop Downs with Pig races.
You are welcome to stay and have lunch at one of the barns.
The cost is $11.00 per student. If siblings or parents would like to attend, the price is also $11.00. Teaching staff get in for free.
There is a $150.00 minimum per group for all school tours, regardless of class sizes.
Payment is due upon arrival, unless alternative arrangements are made at least two weeks prior to your scheduled school tour date.
